Chattanooga man charged in drug overdose case from March

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Meanwhile, Chattanooga police have arrested 39 year old Lafredrick Sails in connection with a drug overdose that occurred last March 11.

It happened at a home in the 2800 block of East 26th Street.

Sails is charged with second-degree murder, sale and delivery of drugs for resale, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

18 year old Melton Brown died from an apparent drug overdose.

Sails was booked at the Hamilton County Jail yesterday.
