Chattanooga State Looks to Train Future Volkswagen Emlpoyees

Chattanooga State hosted their open house for their Engineering Technology department.
Prospective students got to see some of the hands on work they’d get to work with.
Volkswagen representatives were also on site hoping to recruit more people to their automotive school.
With their recent announcement of expansion and 2 thousand more jobs, Chattanooga State believes they’ll be training many of their future employees.
"We’re so excited we’ve been working with Volkswagen since the first announcement and it’s even more exciting to continue that partnership, and continue to focus on their needs, and growing Chattanooga, growing our region, and growing our economy," said Tim Mcghee, Engineering Technology Dean.
Enrollment is open now and classes begin August 25th.
