Heritage Set to Host First Ever Playoff Home Game

Ringgold, GA-(WDEF) Last year Heritage earned the school’s first ever playoff berth and first ever playoff victory. With plenty of starters back this fall, the Generals have continued to make school history.
Heritage posted the best regular season mark in school history this year going 9-1.
That enabled the Generals to earn their first ever home playoff game on Friday, where they will entertain Troup County.
Said head coach E.K. Slaughter:”Yeah we are definitely thankful just to have another opportunity to play in the post season. Last year was our first time in the playoffs. Then to be able to take that next step and host a game this year. It’s awesome. It’s a privilege, and we are thankful for it. I think we are definitely confident. We’ve got a good group of seniors that have been there and been tried and won some games. Yeah, I think we are ready for the challenge.”
