News 12 Then: November tornado hits Kimball in 2007
KIMBALL, Tennessee (WDEF) – On November 14th, 2007 a rare late season tornado swept through Marion County.
The EF-2 storm the Kimball with 130 mile an hour winds.
It destroyed the Kimball Baptist Church, the EMS facility and two homes in the center of town.
Six people were injured, with one of them being hospitalized.
The hull of the EMS station was knocked down.
Kimball Baptist Church would rebuild in a new location.
