Georgia Dealing With Long Layoff Ahead of Playoff Game
Georgia coach Kirby Smart said on Monday he was uncertain if linebacker Natrez Patrick will play in the Rose Bowl, even though Patrick was recently cleared of marijuana possession charges.
Smart is also uncertain how his team will handle a nearly one month lay-off before tackling the Sooners in Pasadena.
Said Smart:”I think that’s what makes the difference in the playoffs. It’s how you approach this layoff and the perspective in which you view it. So how are we managing that. We’re bringing speakers in. We are using every resource we to make sure they take advantage of this opportunity. And we are challenging them each day.”
