Authorities investigating rash of broken windows in North Georgia

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several different cases of broken windows in homes, cars, and businesses.

On Thursday, some Rossville residents woke up to their car windows being smashed.

Investigators believe the people responsible are using marbles and a slingshot to cause the damage.

Victims say they even found the marble in their car.

While the suspects didn’t steal anything, Logan Adams says this is a huge burden for her to fix her car, especially during the holidays.

“I had just woken up. I was kind of surprised, it really hadn’t hit me yet. And I was shocked and I was mad and I was really mad. Because now I have to fix it and it’s Christmas and I don’t really have the money to do it right now,” Adams said.

If you have any information, you are asked to call the Catoosa County Detective Dustin Romans or Detective Daniel Thacker at (706)935-2424.
