Chattanooga Chamber Breakfast focuses on city’s economic future

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – This morning many Chattanooga leaders gathered at the Chattanooga Convention Center for the annual Chamber of Commerce Economic outlook breakfast.

Mayor Andy Berke and Mayor Jim Coppinger were both in attendance and spoke about the bright future here in the Tennessee Valley.

Mayor Coppinger told us “we think we have a bright future here we are really strong with out businesses in Hamilton county we have grown in population since the last census of about 22,000 new residents that is a very positive unemployment numbers are low so again if you want to better your life and quality of life come to Hamilton County.

66% of the County budget now goes to public education.
