Hamilton County deputies shoot suspect who was shooting up a house

EAST BRAINERD (WDEF) – Hamilton County deputies shot a suspect at a home in East Brainerd Friday morning.

They were called to the home on Fuller Drive around 6:40 AM.

Officers report that gunfire was coming from inside the home

The bullets were going through the walls in the direction of the deputies.

Then they say the suspect came out of the home brandishing a weapon.

That’s when the deputies opened fire on him.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital, but authorities do not have a condition for him.
