Vols Basketball Team Struggles to Hold Big Leads

The Vols basketball team must feel a bit like the Atlanta Falcons.
They can’t hold a big lead.
In UT’s last two losses, they blew sizeable leads.
They coughed up a 13-point lead in the second half to Ole Miss, and then on Saturday, they blew an 18-point lead in losing to Mississippi State.
What’s going on coach Barnes?
Said head coach Rick Barnes:”Sometimes immaturity has something to do with it when you get out to a big lead, an you think hey, this game is over, and this team is not ready to play. Bad shots. Turnovers can flip it around real quick. But it goes back to being focused and understanding that it is a 40-minute game.”
