Chattanooga Mocs Football Team Signs Two More Recruits

(gomocs.com) University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football head coach Tom Arth added two more signees to the 2017 recruiting class today. UTC welcomes Demond and Demyan Ross from Panama City, Fla., upping the total signing class to 21 newcomers for the fall of 2017.

Demond is an all-state linebacker at Bay High School in Panama City and was named the News Herald Defensive Player of the Year. Demyan is an all-district offensive lineman who was selected to play in the North vs. South All-Star game. Both were standouts for head coach Mike Watkins at Bay High School, leading the Tornadoes to back-to-back county championships.

“Demond Ross was an all-state player for Coach Mike Watkins at Bay High School. Demond is a rare athlete who has a great ability to rush the passer, but can play in the open field. Also playing tailback in high school, Demond is a versatile player who will also fit our scheme well as an inside or outside linebacker. He can impact the game in many ways.”
