NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) The Supreme Court of Tennessee has temporarily suspended a lawyer from McMinn County.

He is Larry D. Cantrell.

The court finds that Cantrell poses a threat of substantial harm to the public.

He has been indicted on charges of taking a large sum of money from a Trust Fund set up for Jones Chapel United Methodist Church and Cemetery.

He had to stop taking new clients as of Tuesday and must wrap up old cases by March 9th.

Cantrell can petition the court in the future to dissolve the suspension.
