News 12 Then: A trip back to when hair was big and makeup was bold

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Thirty years ago, young women in Chattanooga competed to land a role in an upcoming song and dance movie called Star Dancer.

Nothing much came of the movie.

But you couldn’t tell from the local contestants in this dance and modeling contest.

They were committed.

Glory in the big hair and makeup from the late 1980’s.
