Care giver charged with defrauding client

NASHVILLE (WDEF) – A Clarksville woman has been charged in a home health care investigation.

The TBI’s Medical Fraud Control Unit have filed charges against Lamelia Bellamy.

They say she used the credit card of one of her clients without her consent.

The charges are Fraudulent Use of a Credit/ Debit Card, one count of Knowingly Exploiting an Adult, and one count of Obtain, Possess, Buy or Use Personal ID of Another.
