Hamilton County Sheriffs’ Office job fair

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- Saturday people will have a chance to interview to join the Hamilton County Sheriffs’ Office.

Last weekend people come out virtually to find out about the jobs available. This week, at the Metro Tab Church on Shallowford road, you can apply and interview from 10 am until 2:00 pm.

People will interview for multiple hours completing a Complete Job Application and Interview, a Physical Agility Test, and a Written Examination.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief of Corrections Shaun Shepherd says the ideal candidates will be those looking to make a difference in the community.

“Anyone can find a job these days. Everyone’s got a help wanted sign out. What we’re looking for, are those folks that say you know what not just career-minded but also for those folks who say how do I serve. How do I feel like I make a difference in contribution to where I live and the world itself,” said Shepherd.
