La Paz Chattanooga Honors Latino Leaders
They were honored Monday by a group called La Paz Chattanooga.
Organizers wanted to recognize their work in bettering the community.
Honorees came from all over the area, including Hamilton County Schools, Unum, and the Chattanooga Police Department.
Even former NFL Pro Bowl player, Fuad Reveiz, came to speak at this years awards ceremony.
Stacy Johnson, Executive Director of La Paz Chattanooga, says, "We want the whole community to know about their accomplishments and we have clint leaders here who are helping out today. All of our staff are tremendous leaders. So, we really wanted to focus on leadership and we asked our keynote speaker to talk about his story and the way he feels about leader ship and people who have helped him get to where he is today."
This is La Paz’s 3rd annual event.
Winners include Paula Ball, Luz Bohororquez, Naiara Cancel, Zary Colon, Harold Diaz, Danny Garcia, Raquel Hidalgo, Dr. Pablo Perez, Pedro Rodriguez, and Eda Walldorf.
