Trion man charged with 100 counts of sexual exploitation of children
SUMMERVILLE, Georgia (WDEF) – A Trion, Georgia man has formally been charged with sexual exploitation of children after an investigation began last August.
It started with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Chattooga County deputies raided the home of Jason Leon Thomas on Moore Street and seized his phone.
It was sent to a digital forensic examiner with the GBI.
That examination found numerous sexual images.
They determined that a hundred of them were of children under the age of 18.
Thomas faces 100 counts of sexual exploitation of children.
