Dollywood closes on opening weekend; delayed opening Sunday

Due to overnight snowfall, current temperatures and park conditions, Dollywood will be closed on Saturday, March 12. Snow removal teams will work throughout the day to prepare the park for opening on Sunday, March 13. A delayed park opening is anticipated on Sunday because of temperature forecasts. Park officials will assess conditions today to determine final operating plans for Sunday.

Because of prior scheduling commitments, Dolly is unable to be at the park on Sunday, however, she looks forward to visiting the park multiple times this season. Thank you to everyone who visited Season Passholder Day on Friday. We are excited to open the park for the 2022 season once operating conditions allow.
