Chattanooga Police Looking For A Gold Sedan and a Possible Third Suspect After At Least Two People Were Shot Off Wilson Street
Neighbors say they heard gun shots in the parking lot and also outside apartments on the 2300 block of Wilson Street.
"Residents say they are surprised that no one was actually killed as they say there was so much blood flowing down these pavements Sunday night.
Ms Shay,"This is the worst, my doorstep is right there, right where it happened at."
Cleaning crews worked since early Monday morning to remove the blood stains.
19 year old Common and a juvenile were transported to local hospitals with non life threatening injuries.
Long term resident Ms. Shay says she is concerned for young children playing in the community.
"Don’t have them outside, if you know like i know don’t have them outside, don’t seem like its safe to have them outside period."
Investigators believe there may also have been a third suspect who fled the scene and are trying to confirm whether or not he was actually shot.
An angry Woodlawn resident feels these shootings affect everyone not just those firing the guns.
"At the end of the day it’s the children up in here, at the end of the day, you hurting everybody including parents, stop this violence, come together, stop."
Shay says she was planning on moving her three children out of the complex due to mold, but the weekend shootings have left her with no choice but to pack up and leave.
Woodlawn management had no comment to make regarding the shootings.
Chattanooga Police added that they are also looking for a gold sedan and ask that anyone with information should come forward.
