Stabbing at the Hamilton County Jail

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office reports that an inmate was stabbed at the jail this morning.

It happened around eight AM at the downtown facility.

Chief Deputy Austin Garrett says the victim is a male inmate.

He describes the injury as non life-threatening.
