Lookout Mountain Native Fighting Ebola in Sierra Leon

A Lookout Mountain Native is helping fight the deadly Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
Perry Maddox is the chief operating officer for an organization called Restless Development
When the Ebola Crisis struck West Africa a couple months ago, Restless Development already had more than 100 volunteers in Sierra Leon.
And Maddox came in to help form a plan.
The McCallie School graduate has been spending time in Sierra Leon helping to teach people how to prevent the spread of the disease.
"So, teaching people how Ebola’s spread, teaching people what to do when there’s an infected body, how to avoid that level of outbreak,"
Maddox said he does plan to come to the Chattanooga area to see his family around Christmas.
But don’t worry. He said he is safely back in London now and past the 21 day incubation period, therefore certain that he has not contracted the disease.
