Stuff-The-Truck To Help The Chattanooga Community Kitchen

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)-The Chattanooga Community Kitchen is getting some aid from the community through a stuff the truck campaign.

Crown Subaru is completing its stuff a truck with all the donations going to assist the Chattanooga community kitchen.

The Chattanooga community kitchen provided a list of items that they were in critical need of including 5-pound bags of grits, sports drinks, and underwear plus more.

This donation was meant to honor the late Olivier LeMaitre who use to work at Subaru and the Community Kitchen.

“We thrive on donations. We have a food service program that serves about 170,000 meals a year. So we rely heavily on, almost completely, on the community to help provide the food to do those meals.”

The staff at Crown Subaru also volunteered to help hands-on at the Community Kitchen and plan to do it again in the near future.
