Greenback Edges South Pitt 27-26 to Punch Ticket to State Title Game

Greenback, TN-(WDEF-TV) Greenback scored the game winning touchdown with 45 seconds to play to beat South Pittsburg 27-26 to earn a trip to the Class A state title game in Cookeville. It marks the third time in the last four years that the Cherokees have eliminated the Pirates in the semifinal round of the state playoffs.
