Chattanooga police arrest suspect in North Germantown Road homicide

Chattanooga police have arrested a suspect in connection with a homicide on North Germantown Road.

Officials say 34-year-old Terrance Smith has been arrested and charged with Criminal Homicide in connection with the shooting.

The incident happened shortly after noon on April 8th in the 700 block of North Germantown Road.

Police say a 32-year-old man was shot at that location, although authorities later located him in the 600 block of Tunnel Boulevard.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Smith is currently in custody at Silverdale.
