Athens man charged with setting apartment fire in Etowah

ETOWAH, Tennessee (WDEF) – The TBI announces the indictment of an Athens man for arson.

The fire burned an apartment complex on 5th street in Etowah on December 29.

Local investigators along with TBI agents determined that Aaron Harris set the fire.

In April, a McMinn County Grand Jury indicted him on a count of Aggravated Arson.
