Emily’s List of Weekday Activities – June 25, 2018
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this week.
On your lunch break from work, head over to Polly Claire’s in The Historic Dent House for a unique dining experience – A Mid-Summer’s Afternoon Tea.
It’s your chance to be treated like royalty, with both tea and lunch.
It’s happening all week long from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Get a head start on your Fourth of July celebrations at the Chattanooga Music Club’s Patriotic Organ Concert Tuesday night.
The program will also feature a salute to the military with a local Color Guard.
The show starts at 7 p.m. at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium.
Head over to the Comedy Catch on Thursday night to see Shawn Banks.
He’s known for his “happy-sarcastic” comedy, with stories and slanted point of views on everyday life.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
You can also hit the water on Friday, as part of a kayak tour with a park ranger.
The four-hour trip follows the same route the U.S. soldiers took, who opened the famous “Cracker Line” during the Civil War.
It’s all happening Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
