Police charge suspect in Brainerd assault

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have made an arrest in a serious assault in Brainerd last week.

On Friday night before midnight, officers found Rodger Thomas unconscious and bleeding in the 5700 Block of Brainerd Road.

He was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

After several days of investigation, police have now charged 38 year old Ervin Moore with Aggravated Assault.
