Victim of 6th Avenue shooting dies

UPDATE:

Police released more information this evening on the shooting on Sixth Avenue.

34 year old Lendell Davis was found lying in the stairwell of an apartment building before 5 AM.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating after a man was shot on 6th Avenue early Wednesday morning.

Dispatchers received the call at about 4:45 a.m. that a person was shot at 2424 6th Avenue.

Police tell our crew on the scene that the unidentified victim had life-threatening injuries.
