LaFayette Captures Region Tourney Title Over NW Whitfield

Dalton, GA-(WDEF-TV) LaFayette captured their region tournament title on Monday night downing Northwest Whitfield 67-57 at Southeast Whitfield high school. The Ramblers rallied from a 31-25 halftime deficit. Both teams will host a first round game in the state tournament. In the girls region finals, Northwest Whitfield beat Gilmer 49-39.
