Griffith Volunteers want to know who smashed the fire house

PIKEVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Officials at the Griffith Volunteer Fire Department want to know who caved in the door to their station in Pikeville.

Their post on Facebook this week describes the perpetrator as  “a very sorry excuse for a human being.”

They posted photos of the damaged bay door that looks like it was rammed by a vehicle.

Their were also skid marks in the grass outside the building.

If it was an accident, “You didn’t even have the common decency to report it to anyone.”

They urge anyone with information on how it happened, to call the Bledsoe County Sheriff Department at 423-447-2197.
