Mowbray Pike to close for eight hours Monday-Wednesday to fix storm drain tile

Drivers are asked to use Montlake Road or Hotwater Road as alternate routes to and from Mowbray Mountain

HAMILTON COUNTY (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Highway Department will close Mowbray Pike for parts of the next three days.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Mowbray Pike will shut down from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting tomorrow to replace storm drain tile.

It will also close those same hours on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The road will close to all traffic between Millsap Road and Indian Ridge Road, since there will be an open trench for most of the day.

Detours will be posted, and drivers are asked to use Montlake Road or Hotwater Road as alternate routes to and from Mowbray Mountain.
