Police charge suspect in fatal shooting in June of last year

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting from last year.

27-year old Anthony Broome the second is accused of criminal homicide and felony reckless endangerment.

Broome is suspected of shooting Shandar Weaver, who is also known as Shalone Wingate.

The shooting happened in June of last year in the 100 block of O’Neal Street.

Broome is already in jail in connection with another shooting in April that was also on O’Neal Street.
