Fake movie money now circulating in Chickamauga area
Beware of the bogus $100 bills used in movie productions
CHICKAMAUGA, Georgia (WDEF) – The fake “movie money” has found it’s way into northwest Georgia.
A few weeks ago, authorities in Western North Carolina warned about the counterfeit bills.
Now the Chickamauga Police warn they are circulating in their area over the last couple of weeks.
They report two incidents where the prop $100 bills were used.
If you look closely, you’ll see the phrase “Motion Picture Purposes” on the bills.
Also they look and feel different.
