Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office investigating fatal shooting on Hotwater Road

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting on Hotwater Road.

Around 5:00 pm Sunday night, deputies responded to Hotwater Road after they received reports of a person shot.

One person was fatally wounded by an apparent gun shot wound.

Deputies and detectives are currently processing the scene.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending proper notification of next-of-kin.

This is an active investigation.
