Chattanooga restaurants profiled on Cooking Channel show tonight

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Food gets the spotlight on the Cooking Channel tonight.

The show Southern and Hungry swings through Chattanooga for their next episode.

“Chattanooga Chew” debuts tonight at 9 PM on The Cooking Channel.

Nascar commentator Rutledge Wood and Chef Damaris Philips will visit three local food stops.

They try the Fried Bologna Sandwich and Strawberry Hand Pie at Main Street Meats.

Southern and HungryThen it’s BBQ Pulled Pork Hashbrown Casserole and Rainbow Sandwich at the Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe in St. Elmo.

And then, just a few blocks away, Sweet Peach Pancakes and Bruleed Grapefruit at Syrup and Eggs.

We’re going to have the restaurants on News 12 This Morning this week to talk about the exposure.

The Chattanooga episode airs 8 times in the next couple of weeks.
