Baylor Girls Win Soccer Showdown Against CCS 1-0

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) In a battle of top soccer teams on Tuesday, the Baylor girls edged CCS 1-0. The lone goal came early in the second half on a kick from the Lady Raiders Maddie Reap. Chattanooga Christian had a chance to tie the match in the closing moments on a free kick just outside the ten yard line, but Addie Henry’s shot sailed high, and Baylor settled for the 1-0 victory. The Lady Raiders won a state championship last year, while CCS played for a state championship last year.
