Bank Robbery Suspect in custody after fleeing bank, crashing car

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A bank robbery suspect is in custody after fleeing scene and crashing get away car.

Chattanooga Police confirm that the suspect robbed the First Tennessee Bank at the intersection of Brainerd and East Gate Loop Wednesday.

It was called into 911 just before 1 pm.

That suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money, but crashed a short time later and was taken into custody.

No injuries were reported.
