Multiple agencies respond to fire at home in Red Bank
RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) – Officials say no one was injured in a fire in Red bank today.
The call came into 911 around 6:30 about a fire on Old Trail Road.
Red Bank Fire officials say heavy smoke was pouring out of the attic area.
Walden’s Ridge, Dallas Bay, and Chattanooga were requested for additional assistance.
Red Bank Lt. Talley Glover says, the homeowner told them it was a grease fire that they tried to put out themselves, but were unsuccessful.
The fire quickly moved through the home, but firefighters were able to save 60% of the home.
The other 40% of the home is severely damaged and estimated around $70,000.
No injuries were reported but Hamilton County EMS was on the scene for potential injuries to firefighters.
The cause of the fire will be accidental.
