Community shows support for man battling cancer

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — The family of a Cohutta man is thankful for the community’s support as he battles cancer.

Patrick Milosevic was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma a month ago.

His family says it started with stomach pains. Doctors then discovered something was wrong with his liver.

He has to go through two rounds of chemo therapy.

His wife, Brenda, says during this difficult time, people have stepped up.

“They’ve helped us with food and stuff because he can no longer work. And I have four kids, that is pretty much a full time job myself. But they have been very supportive in emotional and spiritual ways too,” Brenda Milosevic said.
