A Missing Person Case Leads to Murder in Bradley County
On Friday, the father of Tyler Andrew Worth reported him missing to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Department.
He hadn’t seen his son since Monday.
After working through the weekend, investigators determined that Worth was murdered, and then his body dumped in Polk County.
They believe the 25 year old got involved in a drug ring.
They met him on green Drive,k drove him to Hughes Lake Road, and then shot him three times in the back as he ran away.
Investigators believe the suspects then wrapped in a tarp and then eventually dumped into a ravine in Polk county.
Polk deputies recovered the body on Saturday.
Bradley officers are charging 20 year old Ashley Marie Rutledge, 35 year old Richard Leroy Jerger, 37 year old Jeffery Todd Crumley and 31 year old Gus Roy Hawkins with accessory to the murder.
They are still after the alleged gunman, Jody Hughes.
