After-hours clinic opens for North Georgia residents

Ringgold, GA (WDEF) – North Georgians now have a much needed after-hours clinic in the wake of Hutcheson Medical Center officially closing its doors last Friday.

Erlanger South Primary Care opened the clinic this Monday; hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Acute Walk-In Primary Care Clinic will have Advance Practice Practitioners.

It will also offer radiology and in-house laboratory testing. 

It’s located at the Erlanger South Family Practice Medicine in Ringgold.

Erlanger officials say they also plan to increase the hours soon.

“We are committed to providing easy access to care for North Georgia residents and offering expanded hours is the first step in demonstrating our commitment to that goal,” said Tom Petrilak, Chief Operating Officer of Erlanger Physician Services. “In the near future, we intend to expand our hours of operation to 11 p.m. on weeknights and provide walk-in care weekend mornings,” he added.
