Ageless Inspirations creating ageless fun for all

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – One local program is redefining ways to show older adults that they are never too old to learn a new hobby.

Ageless Inspirations, known for promoting wellness and creativity for all ages, is continuing to host free monthly classes on varying hobbies at the Northgate library.

Individuals 55 and up are encouraged to get out and participate in activities like coloring mandalas, making sun catchers, and even creating pieces of pottery.

Ageless Inspirations Founder, Jacob Goodwin, stated that this program “helps combat loneliness and gives them something fun and creative”. He also stated that these individuals are “using their minds or using their hands to do something that just kind of breaks from everyday life. Creating some art, something beautiful, and being able to connect with others who are in similar situations.”

The program, which started several years back, serves as a way to get seniors together by building a community through art. It is a hands-on way to de-stress, learn new skills, and even add a personal touch to your home.

With meetings once a month, be sure to check the calendar for next year’s schedule.
