Angel Tree gifts picked up for Christmas

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- Kids in need will once again be able to celebrate Christmas with gifts under the tree, thanks to the Salvation Army’s Angel tree Program and the Chattanooga area’s support.

Both today and tomorrow recipients are picking up gifts for 3-thousand kids and seniors.

Captain Danielle Cunningham says thousands of gifts were donated to the Salvation Army and as a result, kids are given a magical Christmas because of the area’s giving support.

She says this event is something she looks forward to every year.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle fund is another way to help.
