Angel Tree update from the Salvation Army

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – The number of children and seniors left on the Angel Tree continues to improve.

As of Friday, 954 Angels remain of the initial 3,700 angels.

That means some 300 of them have been adopted this week.

The deadline to adopt an angel is December 4.

“We’re not going to have to have it extended because the Lord is faithful. We’re already seeing that we’re ahead of the game from last year, but we’ve still got a long ways to go to finish up,” says Major Robert Lyle with the Salvation Army in Chattanooga.

With two-weeks to go, organizers say you can adopt an angel at the Hamilton Place Mall and Bradley Square Mall.
