Another church burglary in Grundy County

COALMONT, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Sheriff in Grundy County reports a second burglary at a local church.

This time, thieves stole a sound system from the Coalmont Methodist Church sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Investigators have also learned of similar burglaries in Coffee County.

They say they did get a partial finger print this time.

Last week, thieves stole sound equipment at the Orange Hill Church.

Many churches are installing security systems.

The Sheriff is also asking anyone to call his office or even 911 if you see vehicles at churches during strange hours of the day.
