Arson investigation into pro-life clinic fire in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Both local police and the FBI are investigating a fire at a pro-life pregnancy resource center in Nashville as an arson.

It happened at the Hope Clinic for Women on Hayes Street in Midtown Nashville early Wednesday morning.

Officers found a broken window with a Molotov cocktail-type device inside, but it was not ignited.

There was also spray paining on the side of the building with “Jane’s Revenge.”

Police are calling it the first act of vandalism following the Supreme Court ruling on abortion.

Governor Lee, who is on the clinic’s board, calls it something else.

“This is terrorism and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Stand with us in supporting clinics like Hope Clinic for Women who provide critical resources to Tennessee families.”
