Attorney talks about East Ridge police officer shooting

EAST RIDGE, Tennessee (WDEF) – We’re learning more about an officer-involved shooting in East Ridge.

Last month, 54-year-old Todd Browning was killed by an East Ridge Police officer who said Browning was aggressively coming towards him.

This morning, the officer’s attorney talked to our Erik Avanier.

He says this shooting was justified.

In fact, it was a case of “suicide by cop.”
