August Wilson’s ‘King Hedley II’ comes the Chattanooga Theatre Center.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Theatre Center starts off 2026 with a play from classic screenwriter, August Wilson.
From January 30 through February 15, August Wilson’s King Hedley II will be taking center stage, directed by E’Tienne Easley.
The play focuses on a man in the 80’s trying to have a better life by selling stolen goods. During his journey, King is haunted by his past but must face hard truths about revenge and survival.
The play is rated PG-13 with mature themes, language, and violence.
