Authorities believe singer found on Monteagle Mountain died of natural causes

MONTEAGLE, Tenn. (WDEF) – Authorities believe a missing singer from Nashville died of natural causes. The body of 71-year-old Terri Kathey was found at the welcome center on Monteagle on Tuesday.

She was both a gospel and blues performer.

But her husband said she was headed to Chattanooga to pick up a package for their delivery business.

She had been missing since leaving Nashville on Sunday.

Family friends have posted they believe she suffered a heart attack in her car.
