Authors Shine at Chattanooga Public Library’s Second Annual Fair
The Chattanooga Public Library rolled out the red carpet for book lovers of all kinds today. It was the library’s second annual “Authors Fair!”
The event gathered more than 60 local and regional authors, giving book enthusiasts the opportunity to dive into a diverse array of genres, including, poetry, science fiction, travel and more.
“I think what’s important here is that local authors often struggle to get the word out about their writing, no pun intended. This event provides a great opportunity for them to gather in one place and for people to come and see their work. We have authors writing poetry, non-fiction, memoirs, and a bit of everything, giving them a chance to showcase the print books they’ve worked so hard to publish” said assistantDirector for the Chattanooga public library.
The day wrapped up with a meet and greet session, where fans had the opportunity to interact with all the authors and get their books signed.
