Auto repair and Boost Mobile warehouse burn in early morning fire

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Two Chattanooga businesses suffered damage in a fire that began after midnight.

Four fire companies battled the blaze at 3019 Dodson Avenue.

The fire was so intense that Captain Wadie Suttles ordered his crews out of the building for their own safety.

They continued to attack it from the outside of the building.

The firemen brought the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.

No one was hurt.

The damage estimate is a $155,000 loss.

The Fire Department says the occupants are an automotive repair shop on one side.

And the other was used to store inventory for a nearby boost Mobile store.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
